A 4 day in-person gathering, with 1 or 2 trainers, and people from different cohorts where you will have the opportunity to apply what you learned, experience in-person forest therapy walks and simply connect and share experiences and stories with other guides.
After you complete your 6 month remote Forest Therapy training, you will get a provisional certification for 2 years. Once you attend the 4 day immersion training, you will get the permanent certification.
In this immersion, you will:
Get a hands on experience of what you learned
Get to know trainers personally
Get to know other guides and connect
Learn from shared experiences with other guides
Deepen into the practice
Get the opportunity to ask specific questions that might come up
Once you complete this four-day immersion, your certification will be moved from provisional to permanent. You have two years after you complete the six month core training course to complete an immersion. It will help to give you a sense of the community of guides that has grown and is active throughout the world.
This immersion will take place in the beautiful natural surroundings of Hotel Kouty, under the Melechov Hill, in the very heart of Czech Republic. The hotel is situated in a 10 hectare forest area with its own 2.5 hectare pond, in a picturesque valley at the foot of Melechov Hill. In the vicinity of the cottages flows a stream that feeds a trout pond with one of the cleanest waters in the Czech Republic. The hotel has an outdoor cedar sauna.
The Melechov hill and area is covered with a massive forest with many magical places and ancient energy, which was used by the ancient Celts. Clean surroundings – sun, water, air, rocks, meadows and forests – all in conjunction with the magic of nature here. The shores of the pond with crystal clear water are the ideal place to relax.
The immersion program starts on 28th May 2022 in the morning, and ends on May 31st in the afternoon. We recommend that participants arrive on May 27th.
We have booked on-site accommodation at the venue Hotel Kouty from May 29th - May 31st 2022 (see below). The venue does not have any availability for 27th-28th May. For these two nights, participants can either stay in their own tents on the property, or find their own accommodation in the surroundings via Airbnb or Booking.com (look for: Ledec nad Sazavou or Humpolec, Czechia).
From May 29th - 31st, we have booked accommodation on-site at the venue. There are three amazing forest cabins for up to 6 persons per cabin booked for us, as well as 2 two-person hotel rooms. See here for an impression: https://www.hotelkouty.cz/en/accommodation/
*Accommodation rates for forest cabins: 2499 CZK per cabin per night (can be shared by up to 6 participants)
*Two-person rooms: 645 CZK per person per night, if there will be just 1 person in the room, the price of the entire room is 990 CZK per person per night.
*Rates for tents: 150 CZK per person per night. The bathroom area for camping will be under reconstruction and one room in the hotel with a bathroom will be available for those in tents instead.
IMPORTANT: Accommodation in Hotel Kouty (forest cabins, two-person rooms or tents) is booked and can be paid upon arrival.
Enrolled participants will receive access to a shared document where participants discuss sharing accommodation, travels and more.

The kitchen can accommodate special dietary requests that need to be announced in advance.
The venue is situated 85 km from Prague, about 1h 20 minutes by car.
It is accessible by public transport from Prague to Ledec nad Sazavou where a pick-up can be arranged. Enrolled participants will receive more details about the travel possibilities.

Matrícula / Tuition
The tuition for the four-day immersion is $495. Wait to pay until you are ready to register for a specific immersion. You will have two years from the completion of your core guide training to do the immersion.
This does not include transportation, lodging or camping fees and food for the four-day immersion are the responsibility of the trainee.

Geeta es una Guía Certificada de Terapia de Bosque con sede en Portugal y la fundadora de la empresa Renature donde crea y facilita programas restaurativos que promueven el bienestar y la salud a través de Terapia Forestal, prácticas de conexión con la naturaleza, alimentación limpia y autocuidado. Trabaja en todo el mundo con diversas poblaciones que van desde el público en general, equipos corporativos senior y junior, escuelas, familias, poblaciones de salud mental e individuos que se recuperan de situaciones de estrés excesivo y depresión y ansiedad resultantes. Su pasión es devolver a los seres humanos a la naturaleza y apoyar la reconexión con la potencia restauradora del mundo natural. Está formada en Terapia de Bosque, Mindfulness Corporal y Descanso Consciente, Técnicas de Consejo y Meditación Activa, y en el campo de la Salud como Farmacéutica. Tiene una Maestría en Administración de Empresas y habla con fluidez portugués, inglés, español y francés.
